Your router must take all other functions. Just to clarify again: The set-up will look like that - actually, I can feel your set-up is different because of the DHCP question - you don't connect both the DSM-modem and the router ports marked "LAN" to your LAN: -//-DSL-//-/2p_or_4p-Ethernet-PPPoE/. In bridge mode, the DSL modem don't really have an own TCP/IP address anymore - it is really becoming a modem or bridge between two different media types, the two wire DSL and an Ethernet.
